Equality and Diversity

The Equality and Diversity policy of IBS is to recognise and encourage the valuable and enriching contribution made by all of our educators and learners.  We value the rights of all individuals who come into contact with us, such as prospective learners, teachers and educational establishments.

We believe that people from a range of backgrounds and experiences can enhance development of IBS and that all individuals should be treated on the basis of individual merit and without prejudice. IBS, therefore, aims to provide courses that actively promote equality of opportunity and freedom from discrimination on grounds of age, cultural background, class, disability, ethnicity, gender, religion or sexual orientation in education.  We will strive vigorously to remove conditions that place people at a disadvantage and will actively combat bigotry and discrimination.  IBS expects all employees, students, and associated partner organisations to adopt this policy.
